…but being out in it is so delightful!
Portland’s rainpocalypse–which makes me laugh, sort of: what is Portland if not a city of rain?–is here. It’s windy! It’s raining! The water pelting the windows makes everything seem so grim! 3 inches of rain in a day or two forthcoming!
But you know what? It’s still September. It’s not cold. There haven’t yet been days and days and days of consecutive rain to kill the novelty of fresh water from the sky. This is THE BEST TIME EVER to be outside in this sort of weather!! :)
A morning spent volunteering at the Hollywood Farmers Market, a walk to the post office, a bike ride and long run at Mt Tabor… I am psyched to have been outside so much today. This kind of crazy weather just has to make you laugh at how ridiculous it all is–and right now you can enjoy it without freezing your ass off!
